Iron Ore
Origin
India, Nigeria and South Africa
Overview
Kresta Earth Resources Limited supplies high-quality Iron Ore with Fe content ranging from 56%-68%. Our iron ore is sourced from reliable deposits and is ideal for use in steel manufacturing, construction, infrastructure, and heavy industries worldwide.
Key Features
- Fe Grade: 56%-68%
- Form: Lumps (10mm–80mm), fines, and concentrates
- Impurities: Low sulfur, low phosphorus
- Moisture: Less than 2%
Applications
- Blast furnace and direct reduction steelmaking
- Infrastructure and construction projects
- Heavy machinery and industrial fabrication
- Cement and refractory industries
Geological Context
Iron ore deposits are hosted within Banded iron formations (BIFs) and associated sedimentary sequences of India, Western Africa and Southern Africa. Mineralization occurs in strata bound horizons enriched in Iron oxides through primary deposition and supergene enrichment processes.
Deposit Types:
- Banded iron formations (hematite and magnetite-rich)
- Lateritic iron ore caps
- Alluvial/eluvial iron accumulations
Host Rocks:
- Quartz-banded iron formations
- Metasedimentary schists and quartzites
- Ferruginous laterites
Mineralogy
Dominant iron minerals include Hematite, Magnetite, and Goethite, with minor quartz, kaolinite, and aluminosilicates.
Export Logistics
Our iron ore is delivered via road and rail corridors to ports including Dar es Salaam, Beira, and Durban. We provide bulk shipments, containerized cargo, or bagged ore tailored to client requirements.
